Contract?
Consider any extra hiring that might be needed for coding or database?
Do you already have a website? Upgrading?
Phase2-
Certain theme or style to be followed?
Mobile phone accessible?
Web accessibility 1.0 strict? (Font sizes/alt text)
Colour scheme?
Age group?
Research how other businesses in the same industry are displaying their products and website.
Phase3-
Storyboarding
Layout-
Index, About, Product Info, Gallery, Contact, Thankyou etc
Phase4-
Layout styles-
Funky, simple, professional, modern, abstract, retro, vintage?
Map up a rough estimate of hours that will be needed to complete website- ex. finalisation, marketing complete.
Phase5-
Check website in both Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari etc.
Check it complies with WW3 standards, if optimised for the web and if resolution dependent.
Phase6-
Presenting contract and getting client feedback.
