Website Action List
Particular websites that influenced me with my design were:
http://www.aircondirect.com.au/
http://www.keepincool.com.au/
Their websites aren't the best but it has influenced me to create a design that was combined by the two. A lot of white space and having just a single box with content which I designed with the size of 800x600. And I also wanted to just go with the style of the client-supplied logo.
At first I was going to put the snowman as an animated clip but I had realised that the supplied logo was not editable and therefore would just cause more complications and I also don't want the website to look over the top. I would also love to have done more but because of time-limit, I was not able to.
I had decided to use a dreamweaver template as a design. Originally, flash was idea but because this is a website for a small air-conditioning business, there's really not much into it. And also, I wanted the website to be easily accessible. Having flash requires plug-ins, templated don't.
Feedbacks:
"Looks professional. Might need more animation"
"The Don’s Auto Air website has solid design, nothing overwhelming, colours suit the business. All the coding except for the contacts section submittal works well. Each page has plenty of information about the business, what they do and even some handy tips. Nice."
